Dr Ankita has been practicing dentistry for about 12 years. She obtained her DDS degree at the University of the Pacific, San Francisco and also engaged in advanced training at UCLA School of Dentistry in the field of Oral Implantology.
Originally from New Delhi, India, she graduated from the country’s top dental school at Delhi University, and completed her residency in Periodontics/ gum surgery before moving to California. She is an expert in handling gum disease and offers surgical treatment options like gum grafts and bone grafts that help maintain existing teeth by building healthy soft tissue and bone support around them. During her training, she was exposed to both community and private clinic settings, requiring her to diagnose and treat a wide range of complex cases. She also worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at the trauma center of a large public hospital.
After moving to the California, Dr Ankita kept volunteering her time in various community clinics as she was obtaining her DDS degree at the prestigious University of the Pacific, San Francisco and advanced training at UCLA. Further, she attended seminars on the most innovative and advanced technological advances in restorative dentistry including certification in cosmetic dentistry and Smile Design.
Her vision is simple: to enhance oral health and give people the ability to smile more confidently. Above all, Dr. Ankita believes in providing every dental treatment with kindness, empathy, and integrity.
In her free time, Dr. Ankita likes going for hikes, reading and traveling around the world with her young family.
